The flooding in Toronto is hitting close to home for Drake — very, very close.
The "God's Plan" rapper, 37, shared a dramatic video Tuesday on his Instagram story revealing significant flooding in what appeared to be his Toronto mansion.
The video showed a person, presumably Drake, filming as they wade through water filling the floor of an entire room and coming up to his ankles.
"This better be Espresso Martini," text on the screen says. The person filming is holding a broom and moves toward a door, showing that some of the water looked to be making its way into a hallway.

More than 100 mm, or roughly four inches, of rain fell in pockets across Toronto on Tuesday, according to the city. By Wednesday, Toronto Hydro said about 3,200 customers were still without power, down from about 167,000. The flash flooding led to some road closures, two of which were still not reopened as of early Wednesday.

The city of Toronto said that residents should call 311 to report basement flooding, and according to a press release, that line received over 700 such calls. "Be mindful of your health and safety when cleaning a flooded basement. Do not stand in flood water — call a professional for assistance," the city of Toronto cautioned.
Kendrick Lamarand Drake rap beef: What makes this music feud so significant?
Drake's Toronto mansion, known as The Embassy, is 50,000 square feet, and it includes an indoor basketball court and a 3,200-square-foot master-bedroom, according to Architectural Digest.
"Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years," Drake told the magazine in 2020. "I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong."
Amid a feud between the two rappers this year, Kendrick Lamar used an image of Drake's home as the cover art for his diss track "Not Like Us." On the cover, Drake's house was covered with red pins like those used to show where registered sex offenders are located.
In May, there were also multiple police-involved incidents at Drake's Toronto mansion within days. After a security guard was shot outside of Drake's home, a person was apprehended following an attempted break-in. Police were subsequently called about a trespasser who was involved in an "altercation" with security guards.
